Bad Times, KCR To Say No To Own Daughter?

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao is in a fix right now. There are obvious signs of anti-incumbency and the Chief Minister has sensed them too. We have seen the Chief Minister himself coming before the media and attacking BJP on various issues.

Meanwhile, an exercise is underway on the selection of TRS MLC candidates. It is interesting to see if former Nizamabad MP and MLC Kavitha get another chance Or not? Kavitha, who entered the ring in the 2019 parliamentary elections as a sitting MP, lost to BJP candidate Dharmapuri Arvind.

She has been away from direct politics for some time since then. Bhupathi Reddy, MLC of Nizamabad Local Bodies, was disqualified after joining Congress. With this the position became vacant and from there, Kavitha was elected as MLC. However, her term ends on January 4 next year.

It has to be seen if Kavitha will get another chance. If another chance is given, there are chances that KCR will face criticism for encouraging dynasty politics. Previously, KCR has given many chances to his family members. Back then, there was not much criticism from the general public. But things will be different in the middle of anti-incumbency.
