Balayya Wasted A Historic Opportunity?

NTR Mahanayakudu – The Second Part of NTR Kathanayakudu released today and is heading towards another disappointment. After the massive disaster of the first part, the second part is unlikely to give any respite to the buyers. It may be known to our readers that the Buyers of the First Part were also given the Second Part Rights.

Keeping aside the commercial aspects, it is a fact that Balayya and Krish failed to make the film appealing to the audience. There is huge negativity that surrounded the film because of the fact that Balayya opted to play safe by ignoring the final days. Many opined he should have gone for it revealing his own version. There were doubts that the story will be twisted in favour of Chandrababu due to family obligations. So, the audience had a preconceived notion about the film even before its release.

NTR Biopic failure will also mean that Junior NTR could not attempt it forever. There is no point in making the same film again especially since it is from the same family. NTR has an uncanny resemblance to Senior NTR and with his greater sense of Script Selection and other things, he may have got better output certainly.

But then, it is all lost now. Interestingly, after attending the audio release event of NTR Biopic, NTR is conspicuously absent from the film promotions. He did not even tweet anything in favour of NTR Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu (Till Now). If our readers remember, he tweeted during the release of Balayya’s Gautamiputra Satakarni.
