That Bandi Sanjay would not apologize publicly to BRS working president KTR was a given. On the other hand, Union Minister of State warned KTR that if he sends notices in return, he (KTR) and his father (KCR) would be in jail forever.
It is known that KTR had sent legal notices to Bandi Sanjay saying the latter did not have an understanding of how intelligence worked, despite being Union Minister of State for Home. KTR sent notices seeking a public apology for making baseless allegations in the phone tapping case.
KTR maintained that Bandi Sanjsy was raking up the issue without having any proofs and indulged in personal attack.
Bandi Sanjay has been harping about phone tapping case despite Revanth Reddy simply giving the matter a clean chit of sorts by saying his government too indulged in phone tapping. For almost a year, the case made headlines in Telangana. However, it fizzled out after Revanth Reddy’s remarks.
But Bandi Sanjay has kept the spark alive by constantly bombarding KTR and KCR. He had said that his phone was tapped many times to check links with Maoists. KTR and KCR tapped phones of Kavitha and her husband, said Bandi Sanjay.
Having heaved a sigh of relief after phone tapping case lost its heat, KTR had one thorn in his way and that happens to be Bandi Sanjay. Now, KTR has taken legal action on Bandi Sanjay.
Bandi Sanjay has once again taken to media saying if he sent legal notices as a reaction, KTR and KCR would be in jail forever. As Bandi Sanjay is with the ruling BJP, it could have spelt trouble for KTR.
But looks like neither the Telangana Congress nor local BJP is bothered about the phone tapping issue anymore.
