Begin Work in Amaravati, Or Give Away The Land

Andhra Pradesh Government through CRDA has served Ultimatum to various Central Institutes and Public Sector Units (PSUs) to begin construction works in the lands allotted to them by December or their land allotments in Amaravati will stand canceled.

20 Central Institutes were given 182.404 acres and 15 PSUs have got 20.835 acres in Amaravati Capital Region. Indian Navy was given 15 acres but recently they have confirmed that they do not need land in the Capital. The allotment will be canceled.

Except for National Institute of Design, rest are yet to begin the construction. Some did not even pay for the land allotted and some have only made partial payments. They were asked to complete their payments by October. CRDA has promised Temporary Roads within one week of the construction commencement.
