Best Opportunity For Lokesh In Mangalagiri!

TDP has emerged as the single largest party in the MPP race for the Duggirala Mandal of Mangalagiri constituency. There are a total of 18 MPTC seats in this Mandal, two of which are unanimous to the YSR Congress. The TDP backed Janasena candidates in two of the remaining 16 MPTC seats and fielded their candidates in the remaining 14 seats.

The TDP emerged as the single largest party winning nine of these. YSR Congress won six seats along with the two unanimous seats to finish second with eight seats. Janasena won only one of the two seats contested. But then, YSR Congress is trying to pull a coup and try to bag this MPP by attracting the winners of TDP and Janasena.

Lokesh has lost his first-ever election from Mangalagiri in the 2019 elections. If Lokesh pulls the string and manages to keep this MPP intact, it will send positive signals to the cadre. It will also induce confidence in the ground-level cadre in the constituency.

There have been rumors about Lokesh moving to some other constituency. The seriousness he shows will also clear the rumors. If the issue is handled well, it will help the party not only in Mangalagiri but also in the other constituencies as well.
