Cut to now, the US government appears to be acting in favour of cutting down the waiting time for US visiting visas and this could greatly help the Indian visitors.
Adam Burke, president of the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board has revealed that in a bid to cut down on the waiting time, video interviews could be used in the place of face to face interviews. He went on to reveal that Los Angeles plans to have 1 million visitors to the city by 2030.
If the video interviews replace the face to face meetings, then the waiting time for US visiting visas could be down considerably. However there’s no fixed timeframe for the implementation of the same.
Burke revealed that India currently ranks 9th on the list of countries with highest visitors and could leapfrog to top five positions once the visa issues are resolved.
