BJP Confused over AP Future?

The core committee meeting of AP BJP leaders happened the other day in Delhi in the presence of President Amit Shah and other national leaders. There were huge speculations that the party would announce the President of the state unit after this meeting but that did not happen. There are dual versions about this in media.

A section of media reported that Ram Madhav, a Senior leader hailing from AP pressed in making Somu Veerraju as the next President who is leading a faction in the party against the state government. The media also reported that Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu walked out of the meeting as a mark of protest over this decision.

After the meeting, current AP BJP President, Haribabu told the media that they did not discuss about the next president. A section of media said the party did not invite state minister Kamineni Srinivas who is seen as favourable to TDP. While another section reported that he attended. This announcement will decide if TDP and BJP will remain as partners for the next elections as well.
