BJP Reaching Out to ABN Radha Krishna?

BJP which is trying its level best to establish its foothold in both the Telugu States has two problems. The first is a credible leadership face and the second is media support. BJP high command seems to be trying to bring ABN – Andhrajyothy to its side. Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan visited Hyderabad and met Andhra Jyothi Managing Director Vemuri Radhakrishna

This is a part of BJP’s Sampark Abhiyan to explain the work of the Central Government. But Pradhan held a one-hour private meeting with Radha Krishna and reportedly offered him to turn into Right-Wing Support Channel. The Union Minister told RK that it would be hard to sustain placing himself opposite both the State Governments.

As an exchange for the support, the Union Minister promised to take care of the Ban in Andhra Pradesh on the Channel. Andhrajyothy group is often seen as Pro-TDP and if it turns to BJP, there will be a significant shift in the State Politics.

BJP Sources say that they are expecting Radha Krishna to support at least in Telangana if not in Andhra Pradesh. We will get to know the outcome of the meeting if we go through the Newspaper and the Channel for the next few days.
