BJP Senior to Contest from Telangana?

In a bid to strengthen BJP in Telangana, the party high command may send the Central Leader, Ram Madhav to contest in the state. Ram Madhav may contest from Nizamabad or Malkajgiri Lok Sabha segments which may boost the chances of the MLA candidates under those.

But then, these are no easy seats. Malkajgiri, however, is considerably safe seat due to the presence of the settlers and North Indian migrants. Ram Madhav is a popular face across the country but is yet to win a direct election.

BJP is keen on becoming the Main Opposition Party in the state in 2019 elections if not coming to power. Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha are the only states where BJP can improve in the next elections when compared to 2014 election results.
