BJP Will Not Open Door for TDP But Babu Can Walk In

BJP National President Amit Shah has opened up about the alliance with TDP in an interview to a National Newspaper. Amit Shah went on to say that alliance with TDP is a closed chapter and there is no adverse effect of that as revealed by the NDA Government winning recent No Confidence quite conveniently.

“It is a closed chapter now. We have lost significantly due to the alliance in the long term. The alliance will not happen in future also. But if Babu wants to join NDA Government in future, we will welcome him, ” Amit Shah said. This is the first response of Amit Shah on TDP after the party moved a No Confidence Motion on the central government.

BJP is treading carefully in handling Chandrababu. The party is very well aware that it will become beneficial to TDP in the coming elections if they target Chandrababu with cases or anything else. So they are taking the attack via their state leaders which is not proving to be very productive at this stage.

BJP thinks it has contributed significantly for TDP’s win in 2014 via the Modi wave. But the yellow party maintains that BJP has no stakes whatsoever in Andhra Pradesh and the alliance only lost Muslim Voters. Both the parties are now likely to contest 2019 elections independently.
