Two minor intensity bomb blasts took place in Guwahati Express. The blasts took place in S-4 and S-5 bogies of the train which was on platform number 9 at 7.15 AM today. One passengers was feared dead and 9 are seriously injured and there are some casual injuries occurred in the blasts which completely damaged the bogies. Swathi (22) from Guntur is the dead passenger. She was travelling in the train along with her relatives.
The Police are suspecting Terrorist involvement behind this attack. The trains movement is stopped in Platform-9 and Police are searching passengers and other bogies for any more bombs. The incident took place in 24 hours after Tamil Nadu Police arrested ISI agent, Zakir Hussain. There were intelligent reports that Terrorists are entering Tamil Nadu from Sri Lanka through Indian Ocean.
