Botsa – The Art Of Speaking Something & Making No Sense

Ruling Party YSR Congress is on the back foot on the issue of Amaravati after the high court ruling in favor of the farmers. The government is not clear about how to approach the issue.

At the same time, it can not stop talking on the issue as it will become a political gain for TDP. At this juncture, Jagan seems to have deployed Minister Botsa Satyanarayana.

Botsa is someone who can speak about an issue and at the same time, can make no sense. That is what he is doing now. All of sudden, we have seen him claiming Hyderabad as the capital of Andhra Pradesh until 2024.

Botsa’s statements will keep the press busy. It will ensure that some activity in YSR Congress camp regarding the three capitals issue. While the activity is on, YSR Congress can take some time off to think about what should be done.

Most importantly, there is a zero risk of being contempt of court. Meanwhile, there is no chance of the legal issues around the three capitals clearing any soon.

In all probability, Andhra Pradesh will go to the election without clarity on the capital.
