
Brookfield Asset Management plans to invest Rs 1.1 lakh crore in Andhra Pradesh. You now see the state attracting major interest as the government hosts the Investment Summit with CII in Vizag on November 14 and 15. Investments have already started coming in.
IT Minister Nara Lokesh shared the update on X. He said he wants to bring investments through brand CBN, and this announcement supports that goal. He confirmed that BAM will focus on renewable energy, battery, pumped storage and solar manufacturing.
BAM will also look at data centres, real estate, GCC and ports. Lokesh said the company selected Andhra Pradesh for long-term growth. BAM announced a 12 billion dollar investment in the state’s renewable energy sector for the next three years, as declared on November 5, 2025.
This marks India’s biggest overseas investment in the green energy sector. Andhra Pradesh attracted this commitment due to its strong SoDB, steady governance and proven double engine model. Investors now see the state as a secure and high-growth destination.
