Byreddy back to Telugu Desam!

Byreddy Raja Sekhar Reddy differed with the Telugu Desam Party just before the elections and floated Rayalaseema Parirakshana Samiti (RPS) just before the elections demanding separate Rayalaseema. Byreddy enjoys good popularity in Panyam and Nandikotkuru constituencies of Kurnool district and his RPS party managed to get good number of seats in the local elections.

However the party lost its prominence by elections time and was totally out of people’s scope. Now that the state demand has almost become an irrelevant option. Byreddy’s men who won the local elections have slowly joined the ruling Telugu Desam Party and it is said that Byreddy has sent feelers to Chandrababu about making a comeback.

However there are different opinions about admitting him to the party. While few say it will strengthen the party in Kurnool districts, some others say the leaders who deserted the party in difficult times should not be allowed back. However most of the leaders are leaving the decision to Chandrababu himself.
