Cabinet Shuffle: AP and TS Leaders on Toes!

Union Cabinet will be reshuffled tomorrow and BJP leaders in both the Telugu States are on their toes. The high command has asked for the resignation of Bandaru Dattatreya and Muralidhar Rao is in the race while Kishan Reddy is also hoping for a chance.

In Andhra Pradesh, Kambhampati Haribabu, Ram Madhav, and Purandheshwari are in the list of probable. One berth may come to AP since Venkaiah Naidu is out of the Union Cabinet. Giving Purandheshwari a chance will mean rubbing TDP on the wrong side. TDP, on the other side, is expecting promotion to Sujana Chowdary from MoS to Cabinet Rank and one MoS to CM Ramesh.

At least 10 of the existing ministers will pave way for newcomers considering their age and performance. Seven Ministers have already resigned and more to follow. Modi and Amit Shah have done a big exercise on the reshuffle since it is going to be the Elections Cabinet.
