The Telangana government is jubilant for getting a chance to host Miss World Pageant. However, the controversy has already begun around the event.
VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) member Dr R Shashidhar has said its rather shameful that something like Miss World pageant where the participants showcase their body, will be held at religious places like Yadadri, near Ramappa temple and around Anantapadmanabhaswamy temple at Anantagiri Hills.
