Case on Jagan’s Facebook Page Owner for Rumour Mongering

Suryaraopeta Police have registered a case on the owner of Facebook Page, The Leader Jagan for spreading rumours. The page has uploaded a video which claims assault of Vijayawada Police on the youth attending Jagan’s Padayatra.

The video spread like a wildfire in the social media. The incident happened in Uttar Pradesh but the video claims to have happened in Vijayawada. Suryaraopeta Police registered a case on the complaint of Special Branch CI Yuva Kumar.

Sections are registered for intentional attempt to foil the law and order. A hunt is on to nab the owner of the Page and the department is in touch with Facebook to find his whereabouts.On the other side, Jagan’s Padayatra is given a break today due to the AP Bandh called for the Special Status.
