Cash for Vote accused joins new political party

Jerusalem Mattaiah, who was absconding after being one of the accused in the sensational Cash for Vote scam is back in news once again. Mattaiah was earlier very active in Telugu Desam Party but now all of sudden joined Samajwadi Party.

Mattaiah joined the party in the presence of its local President Naga Lakshmi and was appointed as the Media Coordinator of the party. Mattaiah fled to AP after the case surfaced and is evading arrest since then.

But while the case is still in the court and Police wanting him, Mattaiah bravely came to Hyderabad and even addressed media with out any issue. He even announced that Samajwadi Party which do not have much presence in Telugu States, the party will contest in all the divisions in the upcoming GHMC elections.
