Cash Tripled in Elections Post Demonetization

Those who expected that the Cash Crunch will decrease the role of Cash post the Demonetization will be in for a shock. Five States that are going for elections have seen more Cash when compared to previous elections. According to the election commission, the Cash caught in the elections this year are three to five times more than what is caught in 2012 elections.

In the last elections in Punjab, 11 Crore were caught and this time it is 55 Crore which is five times more than the last time.

3 Crore got caught in Uttarakhand and 2.24 Crore in Goa. All this is despite the fact there are limits on Cash Withdrawals from Savings Accounts. That means system has compromised with the corrupt leaders to ensure cash is abundantly available.
