CBI awaits Center’s nod to trial corrupt officers!

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the country’s premiers investigating agency is waiting for the decision of the department of personnel and training of the Centre to prosecute five all India service officials named in the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy quid pro quo case and other corruption cases. 5 IAS officers like B.P. Acharya, L.V. Subramanyam, Manmohan Singh, M. Samuel, Adithya Nath Das, B. Sam Bob and Muralidhar Reddy are involved in various corruption cases.

Manmohan Singh is accused in the Vanpic case. M Samuel is an accused in the Vanpic case and two other cases – Lepakshi and India Cements cases which are also related to Jagan assets case. Aditya Nath Das is accused in the India Cements episode while Sam Bob is accused in the Indu Tech Zone case. Muralidhar Reddy is an accused in the Lepakshi and Indu Tech Zone cases. The center has previously rejected prosecution on L.V.Subramanyam (former Secretary, Industry) in the Emaar Properties case.
