The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) requested the Telangana High Court to cancel YS Avinash Reddy’s anticipatory bail.
Avinash Reddy is one of the prime accused in the murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy. Dastagiri, who is a key witness and an approver in the case, filed a petition in the court requesting to cancel Avinash’s bail.
The CBI filed a counter for the same. It stated that Avinash violated the bail conditions put by the High Court. He said that Avinash and other accused individuals are capable of influencing the witnesses.
It was stated that they already influenced many witnesses and made them back out of the case. The CBI accused Avinash and his men of threatening Dastagiri and his family.
It stated that to save Datagiri and other witnesses from the manipulation and threats of Avinash, his bail needs to be revoked.
