Center asks AP to represent India at Global summit

Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal always lauds of Andhra Pradesh’s efforts in energy conservation and saving. And now the center had asked to reveal its success secret on LED lights distribution and usage. The center opined it will lead the entire country.

The center also asked the state officials to represent the entire country at United States – Global Environmental Facility-BEE’ conference which takes place in New Delhi on December 17th and 18th. 29 countries will be participating in this summit.

Andhra Pradesh is planning to introduce Energry Conservation Building Code in Amaravati. According to that all the buildings coming up in 1000 square yards or 2000 square meters should be Green buildings following Energy conservation norms. According all the commercial buildings, Multiplexes, Hospitals, Hotels coming up in Amaravati will be energy efficient and will save 40-50% Power.
