Center considering 15 years Tax Concessions for AP!

Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Nirmala Sita Raman has informed the Lok Sabha that the Center is considering the Andhra Pradesh government’s request of 15 years Tax concessions in Andhra Pradesh. The minister has confirmed that Center is committed to help both the Telugu states in Economic development and Industrialization according to the Section 94(1) in Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.

Nirmala Sita Raman has also assured the house that the planning commission is working on the state government’s proposal of External Aided Projects. Under this category, the Center will give funds as 90 per cent grant to all the projects. Central government sources say a decision regarding this will be taken in December after the completion of Assembly elections in few states.
