Center Has Given 12191 Crore So Far for Andhra Pradesh?

Central Government has informed that it has given 12191.78 Crore to the State Government under various departments after the state bifurcation. Union Minister Hansraj Gangaram has told this as an answer to a question by Congress MP KVP Ramachandra Rao.

He also went on to say that there are several things in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act which are legally binding on the Central Government and they are being implemented one after the other by various departments.

12191 Crore over a period of three and half years is very less since the Revenue Deficit for the first year which the Center ought to give is around 13,775 Crore. Crucial Promises like Special Status are already forgotten.
