Center’s ‘Lets See Later’ Attitude

Center’s callous attitude towards the problems that arose after the bifurcation is exposed yet again in the courts. Hyderabad High Court heard the case about high court division and listened to arguments of AP, Telangana and the Center. Center’s Counsel did not tell the court about the stance over the temporary arrangement of AP high court in AP and told the court it will examine if the proposal comes.

The court expressed its displeasure over Center’s ‘Lets see later’ attitude in crucial issues. It also expressed its displeasure over not giving the necessary funds for the separate high court construction in Amaravati. But then Center’s Counsel mostly remained mum on all the comments of the high court.

Center is playing its pawns well in this case making sure that its interests in both the states are not harmed. While openly announcing that it is in favour of the high court division, it is pacifying Telangana side but is not letting that happen without playing its role.
