Center Sends A Strong Message to Jagan Government

A few days ago, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Government had suspended IRS Officer, J Krishna Kishore. The Government also registered Criminal Case on him alleging Corruption when he was the CEO of the AP Economic Development board. Things have changed drastically within hours of this development.

Central Administrative Tribunal in Hyderabad put an interim stay on the suspension and immediately after that, the finance ministry has promoted him as Principal Commissioner of Income Tax. This is almost like a clean chit to Krishna Kishore by the Central Government.

TDP alleged that the Chief Minister is harassing Krishna Kishore just because he slapped tax notices on the CM’s media houses when he was the income tax commissioner in Hyderabad a few years back. ED and CBI used those notices to pin down Jagan in the disproportionate assets cases.

Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP government had set up the APEDB in a move to attract investments and improving the ease of doing business rank of the state. Naidu had chosen Kishore to be the first CEO of the APEDB. With promoting Krishna Kishore, it looks like the BJP sending a strong message about what it is going to do in Andhra Pradesh.
