Center’s Big shock to AP on Hudhud aide!

Andhra Pradesh government is in for a big shock as the Central government has estimated the cyclone losses not more than 680 Crore. This figure is far away from the state government’s estimation of 21908 Crores. A central team visited Uttarandhra last month and it is headed by Joint Secretary, Home Affairs, KK Pathak, who submitted a report saying that the losses might not exceed 680 crore.

The Center had asked the state officials to come to Delhi on 15th of this month and the final financial aid by the center will be decided in this meeting. The state officials are hoping that they will get more aide from the center in this meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Vishakapatnam few days after the disaster and announced an interim relief assistance of 1,000 crore to the State. So the center has released 400 crore to the State towards cyclone relief.
