Chandrababu Doing The Right Thing

TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is reviewing the party’s performance in the recent Municipal elections. The party has got some very good results in a few districts and in some districts, the results have been disappointing. In some areas, even TDP did not expect the positive results it has got.

The bad performance is mainly due to the lackluster attitude of the leaders in many constituencies. They are still yet to recover from the 2019 loss and so, the cader is left to fend themselves in those areas. There are ground reports that in a few areas, there is anger on the government but lack of leaders means people are not interested to vote for the party.

The leaders and the cadre should be like how they work and win Kondapalli Municipal election. From electioneering to the chairman election, TDP leaders headed by Kesineni Nani has meticulously planned and executed. That should be the best example for the party.

The Review meetings are important to identify such leaders and change if needed. This is what Chandrababu Naidu and TDP claim. But then, it is important that these are not just mere claims and the decision-making happens quickly so that the new incharges will get enough time to hit the ground and work to strengthen the party.

Elections are just two and a half years away. It is important that the Opposition party should start its preparation well in advance.
