Naidu Already in Election Mood, Pro-Poor Decisions On the Way

Andhra Pradesh Government has taken a landmark decision to bring major relief to poor families living in the villages. The State Government has waived off house tax for families living in Straw/ Mud/Cement roof sheet houses.

This is applicable to all those houses the value of which should not exceed Two Lakhs. 44.23 lakh people will benefit from this decision. It is a significant decision and is one of the major benefits which will be rolled out by the state ahead of the elections.

Minister of Rural Development, Nara Lokesh has announced the decision of the government a little while ago from his official Twitter Account. With elections fast approaching, one can expect more such pro-poor decisions in the coming days.
