Now, Andhra Pradesh cabinet minister Kottu Satyanarayana has hinted about early elections as he spoke with the media.
“Usually, the elections would’ve been scheduled to be held in April or May. But this time, the elections might get pushed to January or February. There’s a good chance we will go to early polls. We(YCP) should be prepared for the same” the minister said.
This is leading to a parallel narrative on social media that this could be one of Jagan’s plans to keep TDP’s main man Chandrababu Naidu in jail, create uncertainty, and then go for early polls.
If the minister is well-informed and AP does go to early polls, won’t it paint a p bad image on Jagan for keeping the main opposition leader in Jail and going for elections hurriedly? Won’t it be against the fabric of democracy? The AP public has to think.
But even in that case, TDP is relatively well-padded for the same. The newly announced alliance with JanaSena has rejuvenated the party cadre. The likes of Balakrishna, Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan are raring to take on Jagan head to head.
