Chandrababu’s bold and revolutionary decision!

Andhra Pradesh government had decided to stop the sale of sand in the state and make it free. Now any one can dig the sand and use it. They only have to bear the expenses of transportation and digging. Sand Mafia is the biggest concern for Chandrababu’s government since the day one. Naidu came up with the idea of giving them to DWACRA groups.

But even that backfired. There are allegations that even ruling party leaders are involved in the Sand Mafia. Government is getting just few 100s of Crores income from Sand Sale. But several times more income is going in to the pockets of Sand Mafia. This is becoming a huge problem to common man as the prices of sand is shooting up.

This decision of Free sand will make the common man happy and also eradicate the mafia. This decision is also expected to boost the real estate in the state and bring down the costs, making housing prices more affordable to people. But there should be stern steps to eradicate possible Sand smuggling to other states. Given the state’s economic condition, its for sure a bold decision.
