Naidu Disappoints KCR Even on Leaving Hyderabad

If Telangana government is expecting Andhra Pradesh to vacate the Secretariat Buildings, here is a disappointment. Andhra Pradesh government had decided to retain all the buildings to accommodate the nominal number employees who are staying back. Every department is retaining few employees and about 60 of them will be using these buildings.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary SP Tucker will be visiting the Hyderabad Secretariat every Saturday. He will be also managing the issues of institutions under Section 9 and 10 of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. Andhra Pradesh is using the services of these institutions and is also getting to get a share in them as well.

These buildings will be used for any official work of the government in Hyderabad. The state government will have to maintain them and also deploy Police for their security. Andhra Pradesh government has also decided to retain the offices of Head of the Departments (HODs) and Lake View Guest House. AP can use all these buildings up to 10 years after the state bifurcation.
