Naidu Gets the Much-Needed Relief from the High Court

Hyderabad High Court has issued a stay on the ACB Court’s ruling for Telangana ACB to re-investigate into TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu’s role in Cash for Vote Case and submit a report by September 29th. The other day, Chandrababu Naidu filed a Squash Petition in the High Court the other day over the ACB court’s ruling in Cash for Vote case.

Naidu’s counsel put up papers that he is being falsely implied in this case and urged the court to strike off the ACB court’s order. He brought to the notice of the court that YSR Congress MLA, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy is no way related to the case but is doing that just out of political vendetta.

The court issued stay on ACB court’s ruling and asked the defendant to file a detailed counter. Cash for Vote scam shook Telugu states the last year after Telangana ACB arrested TDP (TS) Working President Revanth Reddy and two others for trying to bribe nominated MLA, Elvis Stephenson to vote in favour of their candidate in the MLC elections then. An audio tape which is alleged to be the conversation between Naidu and Stephenson is in the public domain and YSR Congress wants to pin down the TDP Supremo with that.
