Naidu Keeps Everyone Guessing

The Cabinet Shuffle is long overdue for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu. The shuffle already got postponed several times and now the speculations have begun once again. A section of media is predicting that the cabinet expansion is going to happen on October 1st on the occasion of Dussehra Festival.

Sakshi had already begun speculating about the changes that may happen and the possibility of including Nara Lokesh into the team. Another section of media is saying that the cabinet shuffle may not happen until the conclusion of the Municipal Polls which will happen towards the end of this year. Amid all these speculations, Naidu is being tight-lipped about when it will happen and how the combination will be.

This will be the first cabinet expansion for Naidu after coming to power in 2014 elections. Andhra Pradesh can have up to 26 Ministers and there is currently 20 members in Naidu’s team. Naidu may fill up the team to his total strength. Some of the existing ministers may be relieved on a non-performance ground and be given party duties ahead of the 2019 elections.
