CBN, PK Focus On Right Point Before Polls

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and JSP chief Pawan Kalyan met with Central Election Commission chief Rajiv Kumar today and complained about the fake and bogus votes in AP.

Incidentally, both CBN and Pawan pointed out another important topic pertaining to the polling. They asked the Election Commission to make sure that none of the village volunteers and secretariat employees appointed by the YCP government are put on electoral duties.

These volunteers are more or less YCP activists and work under the party’s interests. If the come on electoral duties then there is a clear risk of YCP’s foul play. Both Babu and PK have pounced on the same and asked the EC to make sure that these volunteers and secretariat workers don’t get posted on electoral duties.

There is also a case failed at the Supreme Court not so long ago to abolish to the volunteers system until the elections are complete in order to make sure that the YCP government doesn’t commit any illicit mass outreach programs through the volunteer system after the election code comes to effect.
