Naidu Plays a Game of Shuttle with Sindhu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu welcomed PV Sindhu and Coach Gopichand at Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Vijayawada. The huge traffic all along the route to the stadium from Airport delayed the rally. Naidu patiently waited for about 20 minutes to receive the Olympics Champion.

Eluru MP, Maganti Babu gifted two Badminton Bats to Sindhu and Gopichand on the occasion. Naidu and Sindhu played a small game enthralling everyone present there. A huge number of people who are present at the stadium cheered them with claps. Everyone are surprised at Naidu enthusiastically playing the game.

Speaking at the felicitation event of Andhra Pradesh government, Sindhu fondly remembered her past memories in Vijayawada. “This is my Grand Parents’ place. I played Badminton in the indoor stadium here. I am what I am today because of the love and affection of the people. I am very much indebted to all of you,” Sindhu said.
