Chiranjeevi’s Promise to Rahul Gandhi

When Former Union Minister and Mega Star Chiranjeevi did not renew membership with Congress it was all over the media. People speculated and said Chiru exited from Congress. Further some enthusiastic Mega fans even speculated that Chiranjeevi exited from Congress to only join Jana Sena and support his brother Pawan Kalyan. There was no official news so people gave in to this theory.

But wait, here is what APCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy told to media today. Raghuveera said that their party chief Rahul Gandhi will decide on alliance in Andhra and revealed that High Command asked them to be prepared to contest from all the seats. The APCC President also said that about 72% people in AP wanted to see Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister. Further he added that Rahul is going to tour AP in the coming 20 days. The APCC Chief said that in 2014 their party was made into an untouchable one but in five years time he said they are back in the game with every other party aspiring to ally with their party.

Then came the interesting revelation. Raghuveera told to media that Chiru too will join the campaign for Congress two months before elections and that this was confirmed by Chiranjeevi to Rahul Gandhi.

But Chiru campaigning for Congress and the TDP would be a shock to many. Especially it gives rise to doubt if all is well between the two Mega brothers.
