Megastar Chiranjeevi in the run-up to the release of his Sye Raa on October 2nd has given an interview to Popular Tamil Magazine, Anand Vikatan. In the interview, Chiranjeevi has made interesting comments about the Political Careers of him and his brother, Pawan Kalyan.

“My sincere advice to Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan is to stay out of Politics. It is not meant for people like us. These days, money dominates the election process than anything else. Money defeated me and my brother Pawan Kalyan,” Chiranjeevi said.

“Defeats, disappointments, humiliations are quite common here and everyone has to face it. Sensitive people like me can not face it. I had to spend billions in my own constituency itself. It is not something which I have expected,” Chiranjeevi added. Chiranjeevi contested from two seats in 2009 and lost in one seat.

He secured just 18 seats of the total 294 Assembly segments. The rest of Janasena is even worse. Pawan Kalyan lost from both the places he contested and his party managed to open its account with just one seat. Chiranjeevi quit politics after the expiry of his Rajya Sabha tenure and is concentrating on films.
