Chiranjeevi Tops in President Election Voters List

Megastar Chiranjeevi figured first in the Electoral College List of the Presidential Election and the last in the list is Malladi Krishna Rao (4896 in the list) who is representing Pondicherry. Interestingly, both of them are Telugu people.

The list contains those from Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha and then, State Assemblies. But then, Chiranjeevi is staying away from politics and Congress. It is not known if Chiranjeevi will stick to vote and vote for Congress’ Candidate, Meira Kumar who presided over Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act.

Polling for the country’s top titular post will take place on 17 July and counting of votes will happen on 20 July. Meira Kumar is also a Dalit like NDA’s Candidate, Ram Nath Kovind and is the daughter of Dalit Icon Jagajivan Ram. But then, as per the permutations and combinations existing, Ram Nath Kovind’s Victory should be very easy and the contest is going to be nominal.
