Clarity on AP’s Special Status coming on..

Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Nirmala Sita Raman had clarified that the promised special status for Andhra Pradesh is very much on cards. She told that the package is being studied by a committee of six and they will be submitting their final report on 25th of this month. Basing on this report, the special status or special package to be given for Andhra Pradesh will be decided very soon.

She clarified that the Center is fully aware of the dire situation of Andhra Pradesh. She also revealed that full efforts are on for the early completion of Vishakapatnam-Chennai industrial corridor as promised in the budget. She profusely thanked Chandra Babu Naidu and Telugu Desam Party for nominating her to Rajya Sabha despite being a leader of other party and other state. Nirmala Sita Raman is planning to open an office in Vijayawada and help in solving the grievances of the people
