Andhra Pradesh Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao have announced that Farmers need not worry about the various discouraging news in media regarding the loan waiver. He assured farmers that TDP government is committed to do the loan waiver and save farmers from debts. He clarified that the committee appointed to study loan waiver procedure and possibility will also deal with the bankers and the clarity in this issue will emerge by 30th of this month.
Pulla Rao also said that there are some legal and technical issues in loan waiver but Chandra Babu will speak to Reserve Bank of India and Central government regarding this. It is also told that Chandra Babu is planning to give a presentation to RBI governor regarding why government has to help farmers in Andhra Pradesh with loan waiver. Earlier in the day, Bankers association met Chandra Babu over the issue.
