CM Chandrababu to Adopt Golden Families

AP CM Chandrababu has said that he will adopt golden families to alleviate poverty in the state. Along with him, his family members will also participate in his effort to wipe out poverty, said Chandrababu.

Chandrababu reviewed zero poverty-P4 programme in state Secretariat. He gave directives to the officers regarding various matters on the occasion.

P4 programme is forging ahead like a people’s movement. Empowering the poor is the main objective of the alliance government. We have to involve Telugu people across the world, said Chandrababu.

The district Collectors have to take the responsibility of collaborating and coordinating with the corporates for the purpose. Taking a village as a unit, the local NRIs and industrialists must adopt golden families. The survey being done on the most important needs of golden families must be completed by August 10, the CM told the officials.

We must see to it that 15 lakh families are adopted by visionaries by August 15, said Babu.

The officials shared that 5,74,811 families were identified so far and 57,503 trendsetters have been enrolled. They said to meet the target, there was a need of another 2 lakh trendsetters.

Maximum golden families were adopted in Palnadu, while Vizag stood last, the officials told the CM. They told the CM that automated messages were being sent to adopted families regularly.

The officials also explained the social media initiatives taken to take the P4 message into people.
