Code To Apply Breaks for Chandrababu Naidu

The Model Code of Conduct for MLC Elections will come into effect in Andhra Pradesh from tomorrow. Even before the elections, the Central Election Commission of India is likely to announce the schedule for the General and the State Assembly Elections.

The schedules are expected in the first week of March and the code will come effect immediately after the announcement which means from tomorrow, the political fever will begin in the state and the government is not allowed to make any announcement of the new schemes.

A cabinet meeting is going on in Amaravati right now and by the end of the day, the Government is expected to announce several sops to various sections of the society. Already announced schemes can be implemented during the Code and so there will not be any problems for implementing those.
