The government of Andhra Pradesh and the state police department have been taking stringent action against the YCP leaders and supporters who abuse and make offensive remarks against other party leaders on social media.
In the recent past, we have seen many prominent YCP leaders being taken into custody by the police for their derogatory remarks on the internet.
Amidst these developments, the leaders of the Jana Sena Party requested the East Godavari SP to arrest actor and YCP leader, Posani Krishna Murali, for the comments he made in the past.
Getting into details, a case was filed against Posani at Rajahmundry 1-Town Police Station in November 2022 for making derogatory comments against JSP chief Pawan Kalyan and the women in his family.
However, no action was taken against Posani at that time as he was in the ruling YSR Congress Party and also served as AP Film Development Corporation Chairman.
Now, as NDA is in power and the case is still pending against Posani, Jana Sena legal cell members met with East Godavari SP and requested him to arrest Posani. It has to be seen if the appropriate action will be taken against Posani in the coming days.
