Committee seeks more time for Loan Waiver report!

Kotaiah committee which was constituted to study the Loan Waiver possibility and ways to pool in money met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu on Sunday evening and reported their observations till now. However finance minister Yanamala Rama Krishnudu said that the committee sought some more time to submit the report as they have to talk to bankers and RBI officials on various issues.

Yanamala did not mention any date for the submission of the report but he said government had reiterated its commitment to do the loan waiver to the committee. It is known that Loan Waiver for farmers and women self help groups is one of the prime poll promises of Telugu Desam Party and now the party is under pressure to deliver it so as to improve its credibility in people.
