New Alliance in Making for Andhra Pradesh?

CPI Secretary K. Ramakrishna announced that his party will join hands with Pawan Kalyan‘s Jana Sena to attain the Special Status and to develop the downtrodden. Ramakrishna met Pawan Kalyan a few days ago and Pawan Kalyan is said to have good respect for him and the Communist parties.

CPM also gave such indications in the past. But then this alliance will mean that Pawan Kalyan should take a complete opposite to TDP government. As Communists are fighting against TDP and BJP. Communists have lost their ground in Andhra Pradesh and so this alliance will be more useful to them than Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan Kalyan’s ideology is very near to that of Communist ideology and so they are hoping that the alliance will happen. Jagan also welcomed Communists previously but then they are skeptical about joining them due to the corruption allegations on him. We will have to see if this alliance materializes and brings any change in AP politics.
