Congress hopes for a Comeback with Special Status!

The Special Category Status Demand for Andhra Pradesh is all set to go to Delhi and Congress Party which dumped AP people by not including it in the Reorganization Act is trying to rake the issue. Congress Party announced a dharna on the issue in the National Capital and it will be attended by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Former PM Manmohan Singh.

If Congress is really serious about it, then Center may feel some pinch or if it is a name-sake dharna, then probably the issue is sealed forever. Congress pinned high hopes on this issue to make a comeback in Andhra Pradesh. The party which was ruling Andhra Pradesh, was reduced to Zero seats after the bifurcation.

AP People have expected at least a Special Package in compensation for Special Status but BJP did not do either. The recent budgetary allocations have nothing for the state and that is poking people to a large extent. Congress wants to use this anger to make a comeback and as well as direct the anger on to TDP in the state.
