Congress Set to Insult Chandrababu Naidu?

Reports are emerging that UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi has extended invitation to Fence Sitter Parties among non-NDA and non-UPA Parties for the Result Day Meeting. YSR Congress from Andhra Pradesh, TRS from Telangana, and BJD from Odisha are the parties invited. This news if true will come as a shock for TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and KCR are Arch-Rivals of Chandrababu Naidu and he can not work together with them. These parties have worked hand in glove with BJP for five years. Congress is being decimated in Telangana by the TRS encouraging the defections. Congress’ Legislative Party will be merged into TRS Legislative Party very soon.

This is the reward of KCR to Congress for giving Telangana after the initial promise of merging TRS into Congress. Things are not very different in the case of YSR Congress. Congress’ decimation in Andhra Pradesh started with Jagan disobeying the Party High Command and the Bifurcation sealed its fate.

Inviting both the parties into UPA meeting will mean sacrificing the party in both the Telugu States and also insulting the leaders who stuck to the party. This is also an insult to Chandrababu Naidu who is working for the UPA-3 Government. But now for Congress, coming to Power in Delhi is everything now.
