
The girl happened to be 21-year-old Pawanpreet Kaur from Punjab, India. She was an employee at the gas station and was shot at, at close range. The charged persons include a 50-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, while the third person, also a man, has gone missing.
Meanwhile, the two arrested in Moncton, NB, have been charged with accessory to murder. Kaur was shot at a Petro-Canada gas station, in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road on December 3. When the police came, she was bleeding from gunshot wounds at 10.40 pm. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The absconding person has been identified as a South Asian male, five foot eight inches tall with a tattoo on his left hand. He is said to have contacts in Ontario, New Brunswick, Manitoba, and BC and has been declared dangerous.
Kaur was a student of Sheridan College in Brampton and was the sole provider for her parents in India and has a younger sister.
