COVID Infected YSRCP MLA Airlifted to Hyderabad

YSR Congress Thadikonda MLA Undavalli Sridevi has been tested positive for Coronavirus. A doctor herself Sridevi reportedly neglected COVID initially and the infection has crept into her lungs. She is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

The Chief Minister’s Office has been in touch with the doctors to get her best medical treatment. In the first wave of Coronavirus Pandemic, YSR Congress leaders used to fly to Hyderabad for treatment as soon as they are tested positive.

That has triggered huge criticism back then. But things are pretty much the same, Opposition parties allege. Leaving aside the Political criticism, we hope she recovers soon and get back on her feet!

According to the latest medical bulletin, Andhra Pradesh has recorded 4,167 new COVID cases with eighteen deaths. The total cases go up to 9,37,049 with 28,383 active cases. A total of 7,339 people were killed due to this pandemic.
